Hooray it's fig season!

Although autumn usually means the end of the summer bounty, there are some things that the later part of the year brings that makes me happy. Figs for example are one of those things. We had a small family dinner with Hiroko +1 and for apps I had figs, blue cheese and prosciutto that I had Chelsea help me with. Cut the fig in half, spoon some blue cheese into the center and wrap with prosciutto for a tasty, tangy treat.

For a variation, wrap fig in bacon and broil.
